Volcano Sushi is a hidden gem that never disappoints! My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years, and it's always a fantastic experience. The cozy, intimate atmosphere adds to its charm. The service is consistently wonderful, and the sushi is incredibly fresh. Our go-to favorites are the Michigan Roll and the Firecracker Roll--both are absolutely delicious. While the ginger salad dressing has changed slightly, it's still amazing. We occasionally order the fried rice or yaki udon noodles, which are packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. Highly recommend this spot!
Did not enjoy the rolls that much. Salmon nigiri was tasty. The rolls were a bit too fishy tasting. Will stick to the uncooked rolls! Staff is a bit rude/timid

I pass by this place weekly and I just tried it! Super good rolls, a tab bit pricey, they're a bit smaller rolls then my regular sushi place and $1-$2 more per roll as well. But overall they're good! We likes all the ones we ordered no complaints! Definitely give it a try
So glad we came here! A friend of mine suggested we try this place- first time for both of us. We absolutely loved it. Service was so fast and friendly, the food was very fresh. We loved our waiter. He was very accommodating (I had probably 6 glasses of water) It's a very small spot, very lowkey but it's so worth trying. The rolls were amazing, I took some home and even ordered more for my family. The egg drop soup was so yum! Everything was fantastic and I'll definitely be going back.
This place is an amazing hidden gem! They have public bathrooms and an online menu where you can see specifically what is vegetarian! It is handicap accessible (although there isn't a ton of space for wheelchairs inside). You can seat yourself when you walk in. An employee will give you a black menu and a menu to choose rounds of sushi. We had Alex and he was great! Super friendly and refilled my water plenty of times. I got the yakisoba with tofu instead of chicken and it was delicious. I highly recommend!! My friend got two rounds of sushi (6 pieces per round) plus an appetizer and it was all under $25! The atmosphere is very nice! Lots of decor and a showcase of their food. If you're looking for a quaint place to eat sushi off of hall road, this is your place! It's right across from the Krispy Kreme :)
Good food for a decent price! The service was quick and efficient. We had our sushi rolls in less than 10 minutes and our waiter was right on point without being obtrusive. We will definitely be back and have been recommending Volcano Sushi to several coworkers.
10/10! Everything is super fresh and tasty! The inside is small, so we usually just get take out! Everyone is super friendly and helpful too. The dennys is our favorite roll, but can you really ever go wrong with cream cheese and salmon...
